LLM Design was the Architect of Record and Interior Designer for the premier Massachusetts location of Black&Blue Steak and Crab, working with the restaurant’s designer (LGM). The Burlington, Massachusetts location adapted similar brand vernacular that Black&Blue is known for such as white table cloth fine dining and attentive staff service. Highlights include a visual connection to the wine cooler, a finishing prep area, and an efficient kitchen—the heart and soul of every great restaurant. The state-of-the-art kitchen equipment facilitates their diverse menu, while an artfully coordinated walk-in refrigerator with dry storage mezzanine, reduces back of the house square footage.
A signature front door marque leads the patrons into the space. A fifty-foot long bar constructed of unique white and black veined quartz anchors the restaurant, while a brick arch colonnade provides a focal point framing the extensive alcohol and beer selections. The dining spaces include private function rooms, flexible semi-private areas for large groups, and al-fresco outdoor seating. Elegant tiles, dark stained woodwork and memorable lighting features, complement the richly-flavorful, modern surf-and-turf experience.
Black&Blue is located at 400 District Avenue, in Burlington, MA.
